Consultation
For those who might need some advice or help, without committing to a full garden design, we offer consultations. This can be done via Zoom call or in person visits for North East based gardens. This a great option if you are planning to overhaul an existing border, have a problem area you need help with or perhaps need some direction with where to start when making changes yourself in the garden.
How It Works
-
Zoom Meeting
Our consultation service is delivered via Zoom in a one-hour session. It’s your chance to ask questions and receive tailored advice. Whether zoning your garden, planning a border, or choosing plants, we’ll gather information to guide you. This session ensures we understand your needs and preferences, laying the foundation for a successful and practical plan tailored to your project.
-
Concept Document
Using the information from your consultation, we create a document tailored to your needs. It might include a detailed step-by-step action plan or a personalized list of suitable plants. The document is designed to reflect your preferences and match your garden’s unique site conditions. It provides clear guidance to help you achieve your vision and make confident decisions for your outdoor space.
-
Project Check In
We follow up with a phone call to review progress and address any questions. This allows you to share updates, gain additional insights, and receive ongoing support. If new concerns arise after the initial consultation, this follow-up ensures they’re addressed. Our goal is to keep you on track, making your project as smooth and successful as possible while offering expert guidance every step of the way.
FAQs
-
Please email me to book a consultation and we will arrange a date and time that works for both of is. A small deposit will be taken via paypal at the point of booking and the rest of the fee will be required 24 hours before the arranged online meeting.

Before a video call, I will send a short questionnaire for you to fill out and send back to me. This will help me prepare for the discussion and make sure you get the most out of it. It might also be useful to have a list of any questions you would like to ask or a specific issue to discuss and be ready with a notepad and pen. The meeting will be written up into a PDF afterwards so it is good to think about what will be most valuable to have written up in the document to go forward with.

No, we can visit you if you are based in the North East but a distance dependant fee will be added. The online consultations are perfect for anyone who needs some advice and direction without a full design.
